Electronic Engineer - £60 per hour inside ir35 - 12 months (extension highly likely) - Hybrid - Stevenage - one stage virtual interview - ASAP start - must be eligible for SC security clearance - Sector: Aerospace & Defence

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for electronic engineers to working with dynamic and cutting-edge aerospace and defence company. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state of the art rocket technology and build your skills within electrical architecture. You will be responsible for the electrical architecture are requirements for aerospace rockets and their associated launcher systems.

Responsibilities:

  • System electrical requirements
  • Interface definitions and characteristics between subsystems/equipment
  • Power architecture, including power budget and power profiles
  • Data communication and processing architecture
  • Requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screening
  • Signal safety, including routing of safety related signals
  • Supporting test and fault-finding activities during compatibility checks, risk reduction, system proving/qualification and integration
  • Alternatively, acting as the Equipment Manager (RMO) for specific electrical/electronic equipment(s) that are part of an aerospace system

Core Skills:

  • High level of electrical/electronic technical experience
  • Interface definitions experience
  • High level of systems engineering

Desirable Skills:

  • SC security cleared
  • Previous experience within the aerospace, automotive or defence sector
  • Experience in Model Based Engineering (MBE)
  • Experience in Health Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS)
