This leading manufacturing business has an international reputation for providing high quality critical engineered products to industry.Following significant investment that will allow them to deliver essential next generation technologies to a global client base, they have created a new Engineering Program Coordinator position to support Test activities at their UK Centre for Excellence.
This is an dynamic multi-layer role requiring strong organisational and administrative skills that will bring you into contact with a broad range of contacts through the business.It’s an exciting and challenging opportunity for someone with a background in Business Administration or similar and with experience/qualifications in Project Management, with security and proven opportunities for career and personal development.
This is what you’ll be doing
You’ll support a large Engineering function by coordinating activities for multiple projects, including short and long term planning, scheduling and working with multiple Engineering teams to mitigate delays by understanding and reducing lead times on equipment and resources used, processing and analysing data to produce monthly performance metrics.
This is the experience you’ll bring to the team:
A Business Administration or equivalent, or Project Management qualification to degree standard.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in business or industry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project Manager
Working knowledge of Microsoft excel2
Creative thinking and problem solving capability
