Enterprise Architect | Up to £80,000 + 15% Bonus | Newport | Mostly Remote (1-2 days onsite per month) | Utilities | 2 stage interview process

Yolk recruitment is proud to be working with a leading utilities organisation in South Wales that is currently seeking a Cloud Enterprise Architect to guide the development and management of their solutions portfolio with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.

As a Cloud Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for assessing, consulting, defining, and assuring solutions architecture to align with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision. You will work closely with business architects, subject matter experts, and program management offices to ensure the execution of plans and solutions aligned with business objectives.

They are based in Newport & operate a mostly remote working policy with 1-2 days per month in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess: Evaluate, design, and analyze the implementation of solutions architecture across specific business applications or technologies, based on business requirements and enterprise standards

• Consult: Act as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.

• Define: Provide deliverables like standard definitions, reference models, and architecture designs to support architectural governance.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrable IT experience in a complex and diverse environment, including solution design and delivery.
• Experience in deploying solutions in a SAP oriented business.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
• In-depth exposure to Azure cloud solutions.
