This is what you'll be doing:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant
• Ensuring the quality of site effluent is consistently maintained
• Collaborating with various departments on and off-site for effective plant management
• Maintaining relationships with contractors who provide consultation and services for the plant
• Reporting to site Management as needed
• Training and coaching operators to ensure the Effluent Treatment Plant is operated efficiently and complies with legal requirements
• Recording, manipulating, and analysing data
• Making data-driven decisions regarding the Effluent Treatment Plant, including assessing and escalating risks appropriately
• Checking and recording necessary paperwork
• Managing factory waste streams
• Performing stock checks
• Operating and completing all required checks on boilers
• Ensuring the proper operation of compressed air systems
