A rapidly expanding modern Law firm, are looking for an ambitious Family Lawyer to join their growing team, and work closely with the Head of the Department to develop the Bristol office. This is a permanent full-time position based out of Bristol, with the flexibility to work remotely.
This position is available due to the firm’s success year on year since inception, and the immense growth the firm have seen in recent years! Notably, due to the nature of the firm, work life balance and client care is of the utmost importance.
This is what you’ll be doing
- Work closely with the Head of the Department to develop the Family offering in the firms Bristol office
- Deal with a varied caseload of Family law matters, including divorce, financial matters, private and public children matters and cohabitation disputes
- Draft, negotiate and review court documents
- Liaise with third parties and professionals including doctors and police officers
- Recruit, mentor and guide junior members of staff, to develop their careers as well as your own
- Providing excellent service to your clients, to ensure an excellent reputation is maintained
- Qualified Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive, with a minimum of 2 years PQE
- Experience in running a broad Family caseload as a Family Lawyer, including finance and child matters
- Ambition to grow the department in terms of business development, and building a team around you in Bristol
- Ideally you will have some management/supervisory experience already, however the desire to manage will be considered also
- Ideally you will have business development experience, however the desire to have greater involvement in this aspect with be considered also
- Proactive with a forward thinking, transactional mind set
- Ability to build excellent and lasting relationships with clients
- Salary from £45,000 (negotiable dependent on previous experience as a Family Lawyer)
