Family Solicitor - 1PQE

Salary - Up to £45,000.00 (DOE)

Location - Wiltshire

Yolk Recruitment is proud to be supporting a prestigious and leading law firm in their search for an experienced Family Lawyer to be based from one of several offices in Wiltshire. Due to recent expansion this award winning department offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Managing an existing caseload of varied work in family law matters, including separation and divorce, children matters, finance and pensions, domestic abuse, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Developing new business through networking and business development activities, contributing to the growth of the client base and workload
• Becoming highly skilled in various methods of dispute resolution, with the support of others in the department
• Carrying out your own advocacy, representing clients in court and other hearings
• Participating in marketing activities, supporting junior members of the team, and being part of one of the firm's specialisms

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• 1 Year PQE and solid experience in family law dealing with all aspects of divorce, separation, financial settlements, children matters, injunctions and pre/post-nuptial agreements
• Strong client care and negotiating skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in business development would be an advantage
