Are you ready to take full ownership of a finance function and truly make it your own?
We're partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking organisation based in the heart of Cardiff that's bringing its entire finance function in-house for the very first time. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role where you'll shape processes, drive improvements, and play a key part in the next phase of growth.
This isn't a "sit back and oversee" kind of role - we're looking for someone who's excited to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in, and lead from the front.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and developing the in-house finance function from the ground up
- Taking ownership of management accounts and financial reporting
- Getting hands-on with transactional finance duties when needed
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and controls
What we're looking for:
- Strong, proven experience in a similar all-round finance role
- A proactive, hands-on approach - you're not afraid to get into the detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
