The Opportunity
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with one of the UKs largest union and professional bodies. We are supporting them to recruit a Financial Accounts Manager. You will lead the high performing financial accounts team during an exciting period of large transformational change. You will be instrumental in introducing new technologies and financial systems to the organisation and will work across a diverse group of business entities.
This is a permanent position working in a hybrid way based out of central London.
What the Financial Accounts Manager will be doing
The Financial Accounts Manager has responsibility for day-to-day management and oversight of banking, treasury and investment management arrangements for our client:
- Effective leadership of financial accounts team
- Manage year end process
- Own accounting regulation
- Lead contact for external auditors
What the successful Financial Accounts Manager will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone with a strong accountancy background.
- You will have strong people management experience.
- You will hold a recognised CCAB qualification
- Be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of accounting standards and regulation
- Be able to proactively engage with both finance department colleagues and senior managers across the group
