We are currently working with an exciting fintech start-up based in Cardiff looking to expand their development team due to increased demand. The company run an innovative payments platform for the hospitality industry. If successful you will join an experienced team looking to change the face of the payments industry, they use React but will be happy to consider other modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular & Vue).
They are based in Cardiff & operating hybrid working, 2/3 days a week remote.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining & improving the applications React based frontend.
- Developing solutions on the web & mobile applications.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Contributing to daily Scrum meetings & ensuring Agile best practice.
- Proven experience in Frontend Development using React / Redux or similar JS frameworks (Angular / Vue).
- Proven experience developing within Agile / Scrum environments.
- JavaScript & TypeScript.
- Use Git version control system.
- Exposure to working on web & mobile applications (React Native).
- Knowledge/experience of Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge/experience of AWS based development.
