Yolk Recruitment is partnered with a global engineering leader in the recruitment of a Furnace Production Operative to join a growing operation. The business provides an essential specialist service to a high-profile customer base across a range of critical sectors, and offers an exciting career in a secure sector, with the opportunity to make a significant impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for weekend work only to suit their lifestyle, working just 2 days a week receiving 36 hours pay and working only 24 hours!

The working days are Saturday + Sunday - either 6 am - 6pm or 6 pm - 6 am, rotating each weekend.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Adhere to written instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
• Execute furnace operations with precision to meet high process standards.
• Prepare customer components for processing, including assembly and disassembly.
• Act as a Deputy for the Supervisor, involving tasks such as work planning, job pack preparation, and testing.
• Take on goods in/out responsibilities, including van driving to support site activities.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

And this is what you'll need:

• Good numerical skills.
• Able to work accurately, paying good attention to detail.
• Proficient understanding of computers, and familiarity with spreadsheets is beneficial.
• An engineering background.

And this is what you'll get:
