GOODS INWARDS INSPECTOR - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - £23.24 PER HOUR - SC CLEARED (WILLING TO UNDERGO) - Stevenage - 12 MONTHS - MUST HAVE NVQ LEVEL 3 & HNC/ONC

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Good Inwards Inspector to work an initial 12 month deal from their major site in Stevenage.

Responsibilities: As the Goods Inwards Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring goods received from suppliers meet the criteria of the purchase order and are compliant in all respects.
• Verifying and accepting procured products in line with contractual conditions.
• Reading and understanding assembly drawings with a focus on dimensional tolerances and machined aspects.
• Examining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces, etc., and undertaking first-off inspections.
• Producing relevant inspection/quality control documentation.
• Checking and completing all paperwork associated with the delivered article.
• Ensuring inspection times are met and controlling defect items via segregation from good products.
• Raising and maintaining relevant defect reports.
• Maintaining the product verification approval process through regular audits.
• Inspecting PCB.
• Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining the highest level of workmanship standards and product quality.
• Contributing to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment.

Skillset/Experience Required: The successful candidate should:

• Be a team player who can demonstrate customer focus and adaptability to work-related processes and practices.
• Have a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC.
• Possess a formal further education certificate to HNC or an equivalent certificate.
• Be SAP literate (desirable).
