Are you a reliable Health & Safety Manager with a keen eye for detail? Do you have a strong understanding of Health & Safety laws and regulations? Yolk Recruitment is supporting an exciting recruitment campaign for a market-leading company in their field, and we're looking for a dedicated professional like you to join their team. As a Health & Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a safe workplace for everyone.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Identifying potential hazards and implementing safety measures to mitigate risks.
  • Developing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Health & Safety laws.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to assess workplace conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Creating and delivering safety training programs for employees across various departments.
  • Collaborating with a diverse workforce to communicate and reinforce safety guidelines effectively.

The experience you'll bring to the team:

  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, Safe Working Procedures, Risk Assessments, COSHH, Health Surveillance, and Training.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
