HR and Training Assistant – Part Time FTC
 
Yolk Recruitment is excited to be working with a national Law Firm to find a proactive and organised HR and Training Assistant to join their team in the heart of Bristol on a Part Time Maternity Fixed Term Contract,
 
This is what you’ll be doing
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR and Training Assistant to join an established Legal Services company based in Bristol. You will work closely with the HR manager and support with various HR responsibilities, including:
 
  • Managing all day-to-day HR administration, including employee, sickness and absence records
  • Collating various reports for the managers on headcount, turnover of staff, holidays etc.
  • Supporting in the recruitment process, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, and issuing contracts
  • Managing the new starter, induction, and leaver processes
  • Support Payroll by providing monthly data to the finance team
  • Manage and organise the training delivery calendar, schedule courses and maintain records of training attendance
  • Provide supporting materials which align with training and development
  • Supporting with employee relations and management
 
The experience you’ll bring to the team
 
As a passionate and experienced HR and Training Assistant, you’ll need to have:
 
  • Experience working within HR and an administrative heavy role
  • Previous experience within a Legal setting would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Outstanding communication skills with people at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fantastic organisation and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise own workload
