This is what you’ll be doing
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Manager to join a dynamic and successful business in the Bridgend area. You will work closely with the management team to lead the local HR team with various responsibilities, including:
 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all HR enquiries from Managers and Employees, ensuring accurate HR advice and highest level of confidentiality
  • Delivering the full recruitment process and managing the new starter and leaver processes
  • Guiding managers on HR policies, and ensuring that company policies, values and objectives are being followed alongside current legal policies and practices
  • Promoting wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion across the business, as well as supporting various development activities for employees
  • Collating and producing various HR reports on headcount, turnover of staff etc.
  • Ensuring all inputs correctly passed to payroll
  • Manage the local HR budget
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
 
The experience you’ll bring to the team
As a passionate and experienced HR Manager, you’ll need to have:
 
  • At least CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Experience within a regulated environment would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Excellent knowledge of Employment Law, HR functions and HR Service Delivery
  • Exceptional communication skills with people at all levels
  • Fantastic organisation and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS
  • The drive and passion to lead others and develop people and talent
