Yolk Recruitment is working with an innovative law firm who are rapidly expanding their presence following a successful merger with a local firm in the South West. This firm has a strong client base offering excellent career prospects to driven and talented individuals. This firm serves clients within the UK and is expanding its international presence.
Our client’s nationally recognised Restructuring and Insolvency Team is seeking to recruit an Associate Solicitor to play a part in serving the firm wide requirement for insolvency expertise. The role will include advisory, transactional, contentious, and non-contentious work. This is a great place to work and offers a modern, friendly working environment. Flexible working along with a holiday allowance is available for all staff members.
Qualified Lawyers with 3-6 years PQE specialising in Insolvency seeking looking to apply your expertise in a forward thinking and driven firm, should apply immediately.
This is what you'll be doing
As an Insolvency Associate Solicitor, your duties will include:-
· Providing advice on all aspects of insolvency law to key stakeholders
· Providing commercial and corporate advice on finance and business/financial risk;
· Advising on sale or purchase of business and assets from insolvency practitioners;
· Advice on corporate reconstructions under the Insolvency Act;
· Advice to business management on the conduct of their business;
· advice on dissolution and restoration of companies;
· Advice to creditors seeking to recover payment;
· Advice on disputes arising from business and individual insolvency
· Commercial disputes, debt recovery and enforcement assignments
You will be expected to collaborate with many other teams including property, corporate, commercial, employment, agriculture and litigation teams and clients working in diverse business sectors
This is what you'll bring to the Team
You will provide expert advice to clients liaising with clients and colleagues.
You will be a team player capable of building strong working relationships, supervising junior members of the team and provide a proactive input into the team’s strategy.
You will achieve targets such as chargeable hours and time recording and complete billing and fee estimate tasks on time.
You will plan and engage in targeted business development activities to obtain new clients and build networks of client referrers.
