Internal Sales Agent

Yolk Recruitment are excited to be closely working with the UK's leading construction materials group to find a friendly and driven Internal Sales Agent to join their team in Wenvoe.

They operate in over 350 locations across Great Britain and Ireland and produce essential materials that make a fundamental different to everyday people.

This is what you'll be doing

This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Agent to join an energetic and busy Construction company based on the outskirts of Cardiff. You will work within the customer service team and closely with the sales managers to generate and manage enquiries and orders. You will also:

• Receive customer orders and communicate with them and other members of the sales team through email and telephone
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, and handle any queries professionally and efficiently
• Gain an understanding of the current market and opportunities for growth and potential prospects
• Ensure that correct material is ordered and supplied to customers by liaising with the technical team
• Coordinate with the distribution team to ensure deliveries are made on time and correctly
• Input orders and cash sales onto the system whilst monitoring for any error

The experience you'll bring to the team

As a passionate Internal Sales Agent, you'll need to have direct customer service or sales experience, alongside:

• Excellent communication skills with people at all levels.
• Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• The ability to make effective decisions and to work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisation skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work prioritise own workload
• Drive to achieve targets and the willingness to learn new skills

As an Internal Sales agent, you will receive a salary between £26,000 - £30,000 a year depending on experience, alongside:
