​I’m currently recruiting for an Internal Sales executive to join a leading company based near to the centre of Cardiff. You will be working in a team of 8 in the internal sales team, working among other sales driven, enthusiastic staff!

We are looking for someone with proven desk-based sales experience, who is happy selling and closing on the phone whilst supporting an external sales person and offering administration support.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You will be need to hit individual sales targets, on a month-to-month basis

  • Individual/Joint KPI’s are set which are again, set on a month-to-month basis

  • A proactive approach is required in growing your customer base by calling new/existing/cold customers

  • Providing support to the external sales team as and when required

  • Preparing quotations and processing orders through Sage 200. Upselling products will form part of this to increase revenue

  • Assisting with incoming telephone queries and requests such as customer enquiries

  • Provide pricing, stock levels, stock availability and product recommendations to all customers when required

  • Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are despatched efficiently

  • Providing excellent customer service

  • Liaising with the customer to keep them informed of their order progress

  • Online chat support on our web portal queries would also need to be dealt with, in a timely manner. This would involve answering queries such as stock enquiries, product compatibility, application enquires etc

 

Your skills/ Experience

  • Excellent sales ability – at least 2 years B2B experience in a phone based sales role

  • Good attention to detail

  • Can-do attitude

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Team Player

  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong work ethic

  • A proactive approach to ensure targets are met

 

Benefits to you

  • Salary of £18 - £20k

  • Realistic OTE of £25 - £30k

  • 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

  • Full training provided
