Yolk Recruitment are currently hiring for an IT Operations and Security Manager on an initial 6 month contract with likely extension.

You will oversee and implement comprehensive security measures and the day-to-day requirements for IT services being the key interface with the technology supply chain providers ensuring the smooth running of IT operations, system reliability and efficient support while safeguarding the organisation's sensitive information, ensuring the integrity of data, and implementing robust security measures to protect against cyber threats.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in data security, IT risk management, compliance and a strong background in IT management, system administration, and strategic planning.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven experience in data security and IT security management.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Proven experience in IT management, with a focus on effective IT vendor management.
• Capable IT technical skills to provide end-user support when required.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations, such as GDPR.
• Certifications such as CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
