IT Support Engineer - Up to 30k

We are looking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join an exciting fintech based in Bristol. If successful you will join their growing Support team providing 1st & 2nd Line support to the companies internal users & external products. They are currently operating hybrid working with 2 days a week in their Bristol office. 

Your responsibilities will be:
  • Being the first point of contact for technical issues, resolving them or escalating them when required.
  • Provide first, second level technical support as part of the Global IT User Support team. Take ownership of incidents and requests recording, prioritising, regularly updating tickets and users, investigating and troubleshooting to identify the root cause through to resolution. When necessary liaise and escalate to other technical teams.
  • Assisting with updating and improving documentation within the department.
  • Maintain the IT Equipment list along with who and where the equipment is.
  • Maintain the physical equipment storage location.
The following skills/experience are necessary:
  • Previous experience providing IT support from both an onsite & remote capacity. 
  • Strong exposure to Windows desktop infrastructure: Windows 10, AD, Exchange, Office 365, etc.
  • Working knowledge of a service desk ticketing system (JIRA service desk)
  • Excellent telephone manor, comfortable receiving a high volume of calls.
  • Hardware set up & configuration: mobile phones, laptops, desktops etc.
Here’s what the Successful candidates will receive in return:
  • Basic salary of £30,000.
