Java Engineer - £600 per day INSIDE IR35 – 6 months (extensions highly likely) – ONE STAGE PROCESS – SC clearance required – Bristol Onsite


Yolk Recruitment are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a aerospace and defence company to work on innovative technologies which are found nowhere else in the UK.

You will be joining a world class defence and aerospace company who have an excellent track record within their sector. Although it is a 6 month contract, it is highly likely that they will extend this for you.

Tasks

• Design and Development of Software for mission planning applications

• System integration activities

• Depending on experience: you could be expected to potentially work on the development lifecycle

• Support the production and project documentation

Requirements

• Mandatory knowledge of Java/C++

• Design, development and proving of complex software products

• Communicate technical issues with other engineers and stakeholders

• Experience of working within an Agile team

• Familiarity with a range of CI/CD/DevOps Toolsets

• Strong Linux skills are highly beneficial

• Desirable C# and Python
