Yolk Recruitment are working with a globally expanding technology company. They are searching for a talented Junior PHP Developer to assist the lead developer in a variety of issues.
They are based on the outskirts of Cardiff & are looking for a fully remote developer to join their team.
This is what you'll be doing:
- Develop and deliver bug fixes, minor enhancements, and new features for their existing product
- Triage and problem solve new issues that occur within the system
- Contribute to the effective design of new features and solutions
- Contribute to the quality assurance effort, through use of unit tests
- Work closely with the product manager and IT manager to deliver timely products and enhancements
- Some Experience using
- PHP
- JavaScript
- Also, with desired Skills in if possible:
- LAMP Stack
- Git
- MVC Frameworks
- Linux Servers on AWS
- Mobile Development (App & responsive)
- APIs
- C#
- Angular
- Ability to work independently on projects as needed
- Hard working, enthusiastic, personable, team orientated
- Strong emphasis on teamwork due to the culture of the business and our product
What you'll receive in return:
- Salary between 25-28K
- 29 Days Holiday with an additional 8 days bank holidays (37 days’ holiday per year!)
