Our client's primary focus is ensuring successful project delivery to our client's valued customers. As a Junior Project Manager, your client's responsibilities will involve managing small-scale projects independently and assisting senior project managers with large-scale project deliveries. You'll be an integral part of our client's wider PMO team, contributing to the establishment of a center of excellence by adopting best practices, enhancing our client's working methods, and ultimately benefiting our client's business and customers.

In this role, you'll be accountable for overseeing project outcomes, financial aspects, and customer interactions. Close collaboration with customers will be crucial to manage expectations and achieve timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results. You might also work directly with a customer team, and regular presence in Cheltenham will be required.

As an operational role, you'll need a strong grasp of project management tools and their application. During your client's tenure, you will develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our client's customers' domains, ensuring that the products we deliver precisely match their requirements. While working independently across one or more delivery packages, you'll receive support from the PMO community and guidance from Senior Project Managers and the Delivery Authority.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage Project Delivery from start to finish.
• Exercise Communication & Governance Control.
• Handle Stakeholder & Expectation Management.
• Oversee Quality & Performance Management.
• Integrate Projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Plan Scope, Cost, and Schedule of Contracts.
• Report and Analyze Project Metrics.

Your Experience:

• Expert in Internal & External Stakeholder Management and Communication.
• Experienced in Agile Project Management Lifecycle.
• Understanding of Risk & Issue Management.
• Familiarity with Delivery to the Government Sector.
• Knowledgeable about Contract Mechanisms.
• Exposure to Working in Defence, Government, or Similar Environments.
