Yolk Recruitment are working with a tech for good company who provide assisted living software to individuals with mental health & learning difficulties aimed at improving quality of life and independence. They are based in Exeter, and are looking for a junior level test engineer to help them maintain their web based services and their mobile apps to ensure a bug free experience for users.
They are looking to expand their team and are willing to provide comprehensive training to the ideal candidate.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out regression testing of the web and mobile apps
- Carrying out automated tests, analysing and reporting on results
- Testing, investigating, reproducing and raising issues found in the web and mobile apps
- Maintaining test scripts
- Working with the test engineer to maintain and aid the development of automated test suites
What you'll bring to the team:
- ISEB/ISTQB foundation level certificate
- A degree in a relevant subject
Nice to haves:
- Basic coding skills in one of the following languages, C#, Java or Python
- Automation skills using Selenium or similar
- Testing frameworks such as Xunit, Spock or TestNG
