E-Cigarette are the original vaping experts founded in 2008. With stores in UK and Europe, this market leader are looking for a Lead Software Developer to grow their own team as this company bring their development system in house. 

This is what you’ll be doing

• Plan and action a strategy to incrementally bring website development in house

• Constantly evolving and improving their bespoke system. Whether it’s updating the old or introducing new features, you’ll bring your own ideas to the table and implement them

• Building and manage your own team,  recognise the skills that are required within the time and be responsible for recruiting these developers

• You’ll be there to take the lead, a senior hire that will liaise directly with the Managing Director and the Founder

• Communicate with the external clients to ensure this complex platform is being utilised as effectively and efficiently as possible, helping to drive the business forward

• Developing with backend PHP, experience of e-commerce CMS such as Magento would be beneficial

There’s also some must haves

• eCommerce Platforms – Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce

• MVC Frameworks – CodeIgniter, Symfony, Laravel

• Database - MySQL, SQL

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery

• Unit Testing, Agile experience
