​Lead Java Developer required to join Government Department within a fully remote role. My client has a technical team of 200+, 14 scrum teams of 10 and are working on the latest technologies to deliver constant Software releases.

I am looking for a strong core Java Developer, with the ability to lead a team. Essential skills required are as follows:

• Extensive coding experience with Java within a Spring Boot framework, RESTful API'S and Microservices architecture. 

• Ideally some demonstrated experience with NodeJS

• MongoDB backend 

• Desirable skills/exposure to Elasticsearch, Golang, AWS, Kafka

• A willingness and ability to coach and mentor other team members.

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent time management skills and experience and an ability to work as part of a team within a remote working capacity.
