Lead PHP Developer - Bristol

​

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 pa, depending on mid or senior role | Hybrid 1 days a week

​

My client is a rapidly growing company that are a market-leading car technology brand, in their recruitment campaign for a Lead PHP Developer. The hire is driven by continuous success in their product and huge investment as a result. They have grown from a headcount of 20 to 60 staff in the last 2 years.

As a Lead PHP Developer, you will be responsible for:

• Lead a team that consistently delivers software to a high standard, using modern, Agile practices

• Developing and maintaining high-quality software

• Working closely with the Technical Architect, Data Scientist and Team Leads

• Providing significant development to all our products

• Readying the platform for scaling up and international expansion

​

You will need to have the following experience:

• Over 5 years experience with PHP (Laravel or Symfony)

• Previously led a team of Developers

• Experience with Databases like MySQL

• Working with REST APIs

• Testing methodologies

• Object Oriented Programming

• Git version control system,

• Working in an agile environment
