​We are working with a large public sector organisation who are looking for a Lead Test Engineer. This role will provide technical leadership across the organisation field of testing to be able to deliver on the strategic digital vision.

This is what you’ll be doing

• Working with a delivery team in the morning to help them resolve an issue with their delivery pipelines

• Attending a sprint event to help guide another team on the best automation options for a piece of work.

• Working with other teams providing technical leadership in ensuring that automated test environments are optimised for the best performance of the automated tests

• Provide technical guidance to ensure a co-ordinated approach to automated tests within programs is in place and is kept updated.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• A broad range of commercial experience, including crafting high quality automated tests in .Net, Java or similar language.

• Experience in providing technical leadership

• Broad knowledge of and application of modern software testing principles and patterns, able to lead the design of manual and automated tests.
