Yolk Legal is excited to support this recruitment campaign for a talented Legal Assistant to join a leading Corporate team based from their Bristol office. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support, ensuring the team functions efficiently and meets its objectives.

This is what you will be doing

As a Legal Assistant in the Corporate team, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Administrative Management: Handle file-opening, telephone management, document production, filing, archiving, photocopying, email management, and online portal management.

  • Client Correspondence: Communicate with clients via telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face interactions.

  • Document Drafting: Draft documents and bills using appropriate templates to accurately reflect fee earner instructions.

  • Legal Processes: Assist in obtaining documentation, arranging meetings, liaising with third parties, completing forms, and processing funds.

  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure all work complies with risk management policies, particularly in file opening processes and anti-money laundering. Conduct file audits to ensure compliance.

The experience you will bring to the team

The successful candidate will bring the following experience to the Corporate team:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in an administrative role within a Professional Services firm.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant IT platforms.

  • Strong written communication skills.

  • Good understanding of client relationship management.
