Yolk Recruitment are working with a Top 100 Law Firm with ambitious growth plans who are seeking to hire a Legal Assistant for their Private Client team. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the team, enabling the team to function effectively and achieve its objectives.

This is what you'll be doing

As a Private Client Legal Assistant your duties will include:-

  • Support fee earners by managing administrative tasks including file-opening, telephone management, document production and dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
  • Billing, under supervision, and drafting documents to accurately reflect fee earner instructions
  • Undertake basic legal processes, such as assisting to process cases through portals, arranging case meetings, arranging funding, liaising with the court and completing relevant forms and processing monies.
  • Correspond with clients face to face and over the telephone and email.
  • Ensuring all work complies with risk management policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate team activities such as meetings, training or social activities

This is what you'll bring to the Team

This role will suit candidates with previous experience within a Legal Assistant or Administrative role.

You must have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise. You will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and other applicable applications.

You must be able to demonstrate strong written communication skills and have a good understanding client relationship management.
