As a Legal Cashier, you will have a critical role in ensuring the efficient financial operations of the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals.

This is what you'll be doing as a Legal Cashier:

• Raising client invoices / fee earner billing meetings
• Assisting with Daily bank reconciliations
• Posting Client & office account transactions to our Practice Management System
• Process bank payments (BACS & CHAPS) and transfers between accounts
• Payment of professional disbursements in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Purchase ledger- posting of invoices and payments in line with terms
• Develop knowledge of VAT regulations
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Liaising with fee earners & support staff
• Ad-hoc duties as required

The experience you'll bring to the team as a Legal Cashier:

• Previous legal cashier experience / finance experience in a law firm
• Knowledge of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules to ensure compliance with regulations
• Strong numerical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Strong IT literacy (Excel, Outlook, etc)
• A desire to learn quickly and work hard in a fast-paced business
• An aptitude for problem-solving (desirable)
• Good time management skills (desirable)
• A positive, can-do attitude (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
