The Opportunity
Yolk is a recruiting partner for a large Trade Union and professional body which represents and campaigns for its members, influences policy and practice and represents the interests of its members. Yolk Public Sector & Not-for-Profit are working with them on a campaign to fill a temporary Legal Officer vacancy for a period of 4 weeks initially. You’ll be working from home for the entirety of this assignment with all equipment provided.
What the Legal Officer will be doing
You will be an enthusiastic individual who has an excellent track record of managing a large caseload on a daily basis as you will be providing legal advice and representation to the organisations members in regulatory law proceedings in a fast paced environment.
What the Legal Officer will bring to the team
- Expert knowledge of regulatory law experience of managing a large case of approximately 50-100 cases
- The ability to advise and represent members on all aspect of regulatory law
- Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
- Excellent drafting skills
What the Legal Officer will get in return
- Salary of £41,400 per annum
- Flexible remote working conditions
- Fixed hours of 35 hours a week
