Legal Secretary, £26,000, Bristol/Hybrid

Are you a talented Legal Secretary looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? We are working with our international and highly reputable law firm who are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their Commercial team in the vibrant Bristol office. As a full-time and permanent member of the team, you'll have the chance to embrace a hybrid work arrangement that suits your lifestyle.

Picture yourself as an essential part of their established team of two secretaries, providing outstanding secretarial support to a group of fee earners, including senior management professionals, across their practice areas in Bristol and London. Your expertise will play a vital role in assisting both the Bristol and London teams, enabling seamless collaboration and top-notch service delivery.

This is what you will be doing as a Legal Secretary

Provide exceptional secretarial support to fee earners, prioritising tasks and delivering accurate results.
Build positive client relationships through professional communication and coordination of meetings.
Assist in setting up new clients and complete administrative forms promptly.
Utilise technology for document creation, editing, and proofreading.
Handle file management tasks, including organising files and maintaining records.
Support financial tasks, such as expense claims and invoice management.


This is the experience will have as a Legal Secretary

Previous secretarial experience within a legal or professional services environment is preferred.
Typing speed of at least 65 words per minute.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent).
A secretarial NVQ/Diploma or equivalent would be beneficial.
Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential.
Experience working with a case management system is preferred.
Familiarity with Elite accounts software is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Dedicated to providing excellent client service.
Collaborative and team-oriented with a flexible and positive attitude.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
