Title: Legal Secretary

Location: Trowbridge

Salary: Up to £26,000.00

Yolk Recruitment is proud to support a professional services company in Trowbridge in their search for an experienced Legal Secretary. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing secretarial services to Family fee earners within the team.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring the smooth flow of documents and correspondence in and out of the department
  • Typing all necessary documents from hand-written notes or by transcribing digital dictation
  • Undertaking file management including opening and closing files, photocopying, and filing all relevant documents
  • Managing Fee Earners diaries, organising internal and external meetings
  • Supporting other members of the team in the performance of their duties

The experience you'll bring to the team:

  • Previous experience as an Audio/Typing Secretary and understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Well-organised, careful, conscientious approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, planning time and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office and Databases
