A rapidly expanding modern Law firm, are looking for an experienced Litigator to develop the firms thriving Litigation department. This is a permanent full-time position, with flexibility to work remotely. Notably this position is available due to the firm’s success year on year since inception. It is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work closely with the Directors to capitalise on the existing foundations in the department, and develop it to result in greater success.

This is what you’ll be doing

  • Manage an existing caseload of litigation and commercial dispute resolution matters, with a focus on property litigation, debt recovery and commercial contract disputes

  • Support the private client team when their matters become contentious

  • Travel between Bristol and Shepton Mallet when not working remotely to meet with clients

  • Help to grow the department by networking and taking part in business development activities

  • Provide excellent service to your clients, to ensure an excellent reputation is maintained

  • Provide supervision to a junior Solicitor in the team

  • Be motivated to develop your career and to become an integral part of the senior team

The experience you’ll bring to the team

  •  Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in litigation

  • Experience in running your own mixed litigation caseload, ideally with a focus on property litigation

  • Driven to progress your career and to help other progress

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Ability to build excellent and lasting relationships with clients, ideally with previous business development experience
