Maintenance Engineer

Have you recently served your time as an apprentice or are you a time served Maintenance Engineer with experience within a fast moving manufacturer?

Yolk Recruitment are working with an international owned FMCG Manufacturer who have a strong brand in the area and put their people at the heart of everything they do.

With a small team of circa 100 employees, they have the local community at the heart of everything they do and regularly hold fund raising events.

This is what you'll be doing

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be joining on a 4on4off shift patter you'll be reporting into the Maintenance Manager being responsible for working with both internal and external teams for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), with the goal of a reduction of downtime due to equipment failure, ensuring machine uptime and improvements are enabling effective performance, and subsequently increasing quality & performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering both proactive and reactive maintenance routines on both facilities and production equipment in a timely manner adhering to all Health and safety requirements.

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Educated to a minimum of ONC in an Engineering field
• Previous experience of working in a high capacity team working in a FMCG environment

• Experience with Packaging machinery desirable
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels, both within the organisation and with suppliers.
• Able to work as a constructive member of a team, and have strong sense of responsibility
