Our client believes in living their values every day to uphold their positive culture. They are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their friendly and passionate team at their Merthyr site.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous production and improving efficiencies safely through effectively implementing preventative maintenance schedules and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs. You will be expected to provide technical and behavioural coaching to peers, apprentices, and front-line production colleagues, and be involved in technical specification and projects as needed.

You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision, and should have a "can do" attitude, paying meticulous attention to detail and being able to handle high pressure situations and ambiguous issues. You should be committed to your own personal development, whether that be further developing your technical expertise or pursuing leadership or project management roles.
