As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous production and improving efficiencies safely through effectively implementing preventative maintenance schedules and responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs. You will be expected to work on a wide variety of equipment, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, ideally from a food/FMCG environment. You will be responsible for fault finding both mechanically and electrically and should have strong analytical skills with the ability to break down and solve complex problems in a logical and structured manner.

In this role, you will be expected to follow Health & Safety rules and regulations, identify potential hazards and risks, and initiate improvement plans in a proactive manner. You will be expected to provide technical and behavioural coaching to peers, apprentices, and front-line production colleagues, and be involved in technical specification and projects as needed.

You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision, and should have a "can do" attitude, paying meticulous attention to detail and being able to handle high pressure situations and ambiguous issues. You should be committed to your own personal development, whether that be further developing your technical expertise or pursuing leadership or project management roles.

Our client is looking for talented individuals to join their team and contribute to their success. If you are ready to take on the key responsibilities of this role, don't miss out on this exciting opportunity.
