Essential Criteria:

• Time served in a relevant engineering field
• Proven skills in both mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• A "can do" attitude with attention to detail and the ability to handle high pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining continuous production and improving efficiencies through effective implementation of preventative maintenance schedules and timely response to breakdown repairs
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety rules and regulations and identifying potential hazards and risks
• Assisting the engineering department in achieving budget targets through efficient use of materials and replacement parts
• Maintaining and improving standards of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas of the factory
• Providing technical and behavioural coaching to peers, apprentices, and front-line production colleagues
• Participating in technical specification and project work as needed
