Yolk Recruitment are partnered with an international owned FMCG Manufacturer who have a strong brand in the area.

With a small team of circa 100 employees, they have the local community at the heart of everything they do and regularly hold fund raising events.

As the Maintenance Engineer this is what you'll be doing

You will be reporting into the Site Engineering Manager and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the team ensuring that the line maintenance activities are completed in line with the PPM schedules

• Provide Mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
• Ensure maximum machine availability, through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.

• Ability to perform Basic machining, light fabrication & pipework installations to good standards
• Good understanding of Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems

• Together with other plant engineers and team leaders, actively strive to ensure that your time is orientated towards achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work
• Installation of machinery and site services equipment.

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Educated to a minimum of HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience working as a Reliability Engineer, Planning Engineer, or Asset Care Engineer.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels, both within the organisation and with suppliers.
• Able to work as a constructive member of a team, and have strong sense of responsibility
• Professionalism; displays a positive attitude toward company strategy
• Proven ability to be able to work well and deliver results, even in times of pressure.

And this is what you'll get in return

Upon successfully joining the team as a Maintenance Engineer you will be working on a 4on4off shift pattern and will receive a base salary of £38,000 with a pension matched up to 20% ( 8% Employee/ 12% Employer) and a range of other benefits.
