This is a rare opportunity for a Maintenance Technician with either a Mechanical or Electrical skill set to join a local manufacturer who supplies to a number of market leading companies throughout the world, providing an essential service that has to remain a priority around the world.  Most of the work here will be mechanical, but electrical skills will also be utilised. 

This is what you’ll be doing

As a Maintenance Technician you will be working a Mon-Thurs 8-430 and Friday 7-12 taking control of a busy manufacturing floor covering of all aspects of mechanical and electrical machinery breakdown and upgrades.

Tasks will include:

• To provide & oversee maintenance / repair of the sites processes, services & equipment in aliment with production & management needs
• To provide & oversee maintenance / repair of the sites processes, services & equipment in aliment with production & management needs
• Identifying recurring problems with any equipment or machinery and implement corrective procedures.
• Installation and commissioning of new machinery
• To provide & oversee maintenance / repair of the sites processes, services & equipment in aliment with production & management needs

The Experience you’ll bring to the team as a Maintenance Technician will be the following

• Minimum or C&G in Mechanical or Electrical, or proven by time spent in a Multi-skilled role
• Good Knowledge of Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems
• Basic Electrical Fault finding and isolation.
