Management Accountant - £38per hour inside ir35 - Central London - 6 months (extension likely) - one stage virtual interview - Hybrid (prominent onsite) - Sector: Green Energy / Green Technology

Yolk recruitment are recruiting for a management accountant to work with a global leader in green technology at the forefront of the new sustainable future.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the financial controller and assist with preparation of monthly accounts, Bank and Treasury Reconciliations, fixed asset accounting and preparing a range of monthly reports.

Responsible:

• Completing daily bank and treasury reconciliations
• Posting bank transactions including AR, AP, Withholding Tax other payments and receipts
• Monthly VAT returns and VAT transaction sampling
• Reconciling range of GL accounts
• Raising intercompany recharge invoices
• Open and close Asset under construction projects and creating fixed assets
• Produce periodic cost reports for departmental managers
• Work with AP officer to ensure intercompany invoices are processed and paid on time
• Process monthly intercompany payment runs
• Accruals/Prepayments and other monthly adjustments
• Assist in providing information for internal, external audit and statutory reporting
• Other Ad hoc activities as and when

Core Skills:

• Experience in recording financial transactions.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards
• Ability to work collaboratively challenge abnormal transaction.
• Good Microsoft Office Skills and knowledge of SAP (or equivalent)

Desirable Skills:

• University degree qualification
• Part qualified or progressing towards Professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
