Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Manager to join our client on an initial 12 month deal from their site in Bolton.

Position Overview: As part of this role, you will offer vital assistance to Programme Managers and the Manufacturing Management Team, contributing to the definition, planning, direction, and successful execution of manufacturing projects/contracts in alignment with business plan targets. This involves meticulous cost control and a strong focus on adhering to schedules. You'll be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, including those with internal customers, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting on project progress across all facets of performance. Your role will encompass various key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

* Contribute to the triumph of large-scale contracts throughout the entire product lifecycle, involving careful planning, facilitation, and support.

* Cultivate and sustain valuable relationships with internal customers and essential subcontractors.

* Guarantee precise and comprehensive reporting on all aspects of project performance, effectively translating requirements back to the manufacturing domain.

* Aid in the development and maintenance of contract risk and opportunity plans/budgets.

* Communicate project/programme requisites coherently to multi-disciplinary teams, thereby safeguarding timely deliveries.

* Assume a pivotal role in tendering/bidding endeavors associated with the successful acquisition of future business.

Requirements for the Role:

* Accomplished Project Manager with a demonstrated history of delivering fixed-cost programmes of substantial value within a matrix organization. Preferred background in engineering or production environments.

* Innate communication skills, fostering robust relationships, and adept at steering multi-functional teams to meet demanding timelines.

* Display enthusiasm, proactivity, and persistence, adept at prioritization and proficiently balancing strategic business imperatives with day-to-day tactical choices.

* Proficiency in applying Project Management competencies at an assistant level within a relevant business context.

* Completion of ESD training.
