Marketing Manager

Newport/hybrid (1 day per week required in branch)

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum


Are you a passionate and proactive Marketing Manager who’s looking for a role that you can really put your own stamp on? Or perhaps you are an experienced Marketing Executive looking for the next step in your career? Either way, we’d like to hear from you!


Yolk Recruitment ltd are currently partnered with an innovative tech brand who are hiring for an enthusiastic and experience marketeer who will drive their marketing operation forward. This is a brand new role that has been created due to expansion. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to grow and develop this role over the coming months/years.


Here’s what you’ll be doing:


  • Planning (compiling, distributing, and presenting ideas, information, and strategies)

  • Managing and creating appropriate content for a variety of channels

  • Developing and managing website content, including writing engaging copy

  • Managing and executing e mail marketing strategies using Mail Chimp

  • Research (analysing data to identify and define audiences)

  • Tracking marketing performance and return on investment

  • Copywriting for social channels, websites and brand decks

  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports for review

  • Working closely with in-house team or external creative agencies upon delegation to design marketing materials such as brochures and videos 

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the team:


  • You’ll be an experienced marketer with a proactive approach

  • You’ll have a working knowledge of Mailchimp (or a similar e mail marketing software)

  • You’ll have a strong understanding of paid search and digital advertising

  • You’ll be organised, resourceful and comfortable when working in a predominantly remote setting

  • You’ll be a strong communicator who is comfortable working with colleagues and external contacts

  • You’ll have the ability to manage relationships and plan campaigns

  • You’ll have a Working knowledge of SEO, as well as website customer journey and UX

  • You’ll have demonstrable experience working with Analytics

  • Experience in working as part of a smaller, close knit team would be an advantage
