Yolk Recruitment are proud to be working with a well know manufacturing company based in Telford looking for an experienced Material Controller to join their journey.

This is what you'll be doing

• Maximise the stock levels to ensure service levels, with minimal waste levels
• Establish, maintain, and encourage a positive relationship
• Obtain and utilise latest customer forecasts
• Monitor all WIP and on site finished goods stocks
• Be able to create production plans for stock management
• Inventory Management and overseeing future orders
• Produce demand plans to hit service levels.
• Ensure all scheduling activity optimises line performance and business profitability
• Oversee and take part in weekly and monthly stock take
• Receive and interpret customer orders and produce demand plans
• Advise customer supply chain of any issues or delays

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Experience in a similar fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in FMCG - ideally within food or drink
• Previous experience with ERP systems
• SAP experience would be desirable
• Understanding of working with Microsoft Excel
• Analytical mindset and able to prioritise workloads
• Organised and experience implementing daily and weekly plans
• Experience working to company KPIs
• Hands on and able to think proactively
