Mechanical Design Engineer

£60,000

4 days on site, work from home Friday.

Yolk Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to work for one of the leading providers in the oil & gas sector. This company is currently seeking a senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the development of their next generation product

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test and maintain mechanical products.
• Calculate and conduct tests to verify designs and document in technical reports
• Create and maintain documentation including manufacturing, assembly and test procedures.
• Prioritise your workload to complete the goals.
• Have the ability to handle more than one job at a time.

Skills required:

• Experience with the use of CAD packages
• Have a minimum of 3 years experience working within harsh environments - high temp, shock, vibration etc
• Proficient working with mechanical drawings and experience of reviewing other designer's drawings and models
• Have strong ability to challenge and see next generation products from paper to development and so on.
