Frontline MI & Analysis Officer

We are looking for an experienced analyst who is passionate about working with data and is confident working on large data sets and programmes. Someone who can speak their findings confidently to all levels of an organisation. This individual needs to prioritise and use initiative within this role and be able to problem solve on a day-to-day basis. Attention to detail in this role is key to success and it is important to have good and clear communication skills. This opportunity is a permanent contract based in the heart of Brighton.

What you’ll be doing as a Frontline MI & Analyst Officer:
  • Extract, manipulate, analyse, and present on large data sets.
  • Develop and maintain standard reports and dashboards with clear visuals to support management decision-making.
  • Provide trend analysis and create forecasts or models using a range of techniques.
  • Work with a wide variety of non-technical customers.
  • Peer review on reporting accuracy and quality.
  • Find opportunities to use your analytical skills and techniques to add value to business problems.
  • Be a contributing and proactive member of the Frontline Regulation directorate.
What the Frontline MI & Analyst Officer will bring to the team:
  • Intermediate SQL skills using Microsoft SQL server.
  • Experienced in providing insight from data
  • Experienced in working with large volumes of data
  • Experienced in data visualisation
  • Experience of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI / SSRS/ Birst / Tableau.
  • Ability to manipulate and present data in Excel.
  • Report requirement gathering and development
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in computer science / mathematics / statistics
