I am looking for an experienced mortgage administration/ support professional to join a successful and expanding company. The role involves handling various post-completion administration procedures related to existing loans, responding to queries by phone and in writing, and ensuring all processes are carried out accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Below are the key details, responsibilities, and qualifications for this position:

Job Purpose:

  • Dealing with all aspects of post-completion administration procedures related to existing loans.
  • Handling queries by phone and in writing.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Dimensions:

  • Reports to Team Leader (Mortgage Services).
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal contacts and departments.
  • Must achieve department service and quality standards.

Key Outputs & Responsibilities:

  • Work to agreed objectives, service standards, and deliverables.
  • Check documentation and information for adherence to policy and criteria.
  • Handle queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally.
  • Provide prompt replies to all written correspondence.
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Adhere to internal/external compliance, credit review, and audit requirements.
  • Apply Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) principles.
  • Resolve queries outside own area of expertise.
  • Train and mentor new team members.
  • Take responsibility for learning and development.
  • Perform all other associated duties and responsibilities as required by management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proactive, flexible, and willing to take on new aspects of the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PC literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven experience in mortgage administration and customer service is essential.
  • Previous experience in arrears' collection or mortgage securities/title would be advantageous.
  • Option to study CeMAP.
