Claims Handler for a brand-new car insurance business
We have a very rare opportunity to join something at the beginning, to help build something great and make your own mark. Would you like to be in at the very start of a brand-new car insurance operation delivering exceptional customer service using the latest cloud-based technology? If so, you could become part of our client’s highly experienced and successful team!

This is what you’ll be doing

The scope includes responsibility for delivering:

  • Customer communications via live chat, phone and email.

  • Handling accidental damage, fire, theft & vandalism claims from report to settlement.

  • Dealing with all aspects of third party damage claims including those involving credit hire and / or bodily injury.

  • Actively seeking subrogated recoveries and negotiate liability as the loss circumstances dictate.

  • Identifying potential fraud using knowledge of fraud indicators, SIRA or other available tools and acting in accordance with company stated guidelines to deal with such claims.

  • Complaint handling

The experience you’ll bring to the team

You will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 GCSEs including English Language.

  • Be able to successfully intervene on new third-party claims to control costs.

  • Have spent at least the last 3 years in the claims environment preferably working for a motor insurer but not essential.

  • Experience gained in handling all aspects of customer & third-party claims, including BI.

  • Be innately customer service focused and understand how to provide excellent customer service.

  • Be able to interpret data to identify trends to inform action.

  • Understand the regulatory environment in which they work.
