Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for an MRP Controller to join our client on an initial 12 month contract working from Bolton.

Join our prestigious client's team in a confidential role as an MRP Controller. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for the seamless management of manufacturing schedules and logistics activities, ensuring that our client's mission-critical projects are delivered punctually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Planning: Oversee and execute planning activities to meet the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) within specified timeframes, budget constraints, and quality standards.

• Material Procurement: Manage the planning and procurement of materials to guarantee timely and sufficient supply for manufacturing processes, supporting adherence to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

• MRP System: Administer, oversee, and schedule tasks within the MRP system while accurately communicating delivery forecasts to valued customers.

• Inventory Management: Efficiently control material inventories, aligning them with preset inventory targets to minimize waste and cost. Conduct routine stock checks to ensure the MRP system's accuracy.

• Supply Chain Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Supply Planner to communicate changes in plans and resolve supply chain constraints, ensuring smooth operations.

• Risk Identification: Identify potential risks associated with supplied parts and escalate them within the sales and operations process, contributing to effective issue resolution.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Goods Receiving, stores, and despatch teams to manage inventory levels, resolve inquiries, maintain MRP system accuracy, and ensure accurate documentation for transactions.

• Non-conformance Management: Support effective controls for non-conformance management, ensuring the highest quality standards.

• Data Maintenance: Maintain the manufacturing bill of materials and manufacturing strategy by ensuring master data accuracy.

• KPI Achievement: Contribute to achieving schedule adherence, inventory, and delivery KPIs through meticulous planning execution.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in Manufacturing planning, Supply chain management, or a related field.
• APICs supply chain certification is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with SAP software is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
