Network Engineer | Up To £42,000 | Exeter Based | Hybrid

Yolk Recruitment are working with a UK leading property tech company who are looking to hire an experienced network engineer for their Exeter-based team. You will be responsible for implementing, operating and maintaining a wide range of network and security systems across multiple sites including data centres around the UK.

The role will see you assisting with the technical operations including configuration and deployment, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, auditing and log management, as well as the upgrading and support of all network systems. There is an expectancy for out-of-hours and on-call duties but you will be working with emerging technologies in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will operate and support all networking and related infrastructure for the business and could play a key role in its expansion into a cloud-based environment.

What they're looking for:

• Three years of relevant experience working in a network engineer (or similar) role
• A varied background with experience across multiple systems
• CCNA or a CCNP qualification and are keen to further develop your skillset
• The ability to work out of hours and will participate in an 'on-call' rota
• Great communication and time management skills
• Some exposure to the cloud technologies AWS or Azure would be beneficial but are not necessary
