Our client’s services extend across the Legal sector ranging from Real Estate, Private Client, Employment, Dispute Resolution, Agriculture, and Construction with practice specialists in each of these areas.
 
This is what you'll be doing 

As a Salaried Partner in the Real Estate Team you will deal with a variety of responsibilities including:
  • Manage a caseload of files
  • Build credibility and develop own client relationships through managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales.
  • Develop market and sector knowledge, demonstrating expertise to clients.
  • Being proactive in reducing risk and exposure in the team and support in building a risk aware culture.
  • Develop a niche/sector expertise.
  • Grow internal and external networks of clients, intermediaries, and contacts
  • Attend networking events, writing publications / marketing materials and speaking at seminars
  • Assist in team and sector pitches as required
  • Take responsibility for managing aspects of projects that are delegated and meet deadlines
  • Support juniors in the team by giving technical, business and general advice
This is what you'll bring to the Team
 
This role would suit a Senior Associate with experience in the Health & Social Care sector seeking to secure partnership or an existing Partner looking to grow and lead the firm’s Health & Social Care sector team from a Real Estate perspective.
 
The Health & Social Care team act for a wide number of clients including residential and nursing, specialist and learning disability, retirement villages, children’s services and homecare and supported living. 
 
You will assist with the marketing of the sector team and department’s services, undertaking business development activities to support the growth of the firm.
 
You will be a Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive with at least 6 years PQE experience and requisite knowledge to fulfil the role as well as possess the following essential experience:-
  • Previous experience of commercial property transactions
  • Experience in health and social care work being essential with development, secured lending and corporate support being desirable
  • Ability to manage own files and delegate work to others
  • Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service
Ideally, you will also have experience and the ability to coach and mentor junior lawyers.
